Tech Data technical team can perform assessment of customer’s existing F5 Big IP products and provide a report with recommendations. This will require customers to provide qkview from their F5 Big IP products.

Recommendations will include:

Any configuration changes to enhance security and performance
Any additional module that can be activated/utilised
Any uplift in terms of hardware or software versions
SaaS based alternative available that can provide a more efficient solution

Tech Data technical team performs an assessment of customer’s existing F5 Big IP products and provide recommendations on configuration changes to optimise the application delivery, without compromising on security.

Tech Data team will proactively work with partners from a quarterly report received from F5 to identify forth coming licence expiry. This will aid partners to reach out to their customers pro-actively to remind them of license renewal. This exercise can also identify possible customer environment using software that are out of support, or due to be out of support soon. Partners also have the option to utilize Tech Data technical services team to perform the upgrade for their customers.

Tech Data technical team can analyse the existing F5 product deployment, and recommend alternatives where appropriate. This could range from suggesting license renewal if the current solution is the best fit for the requirement, to adoption of a more performing and future -proof product like F5 rSeries, VELOS chassis and blades, or a cloud-native solution with F5 distributed cloud services. Our team will recommend the most cost effective solution, taking into consideration performance, security and scalability for future growth.

Tech Data technical team can analyse the existing on-prem solution of the customer and recommend the adoption of SaaS based solutions with F5 distributed cloud where possible. This will not only remove the burden from customers in managing all the infrastructure, but also accelerate time-to-service, lower TCO, and increase security efficacy on a cloud-native platform that is fully integrated across a single policy engine and management console.
